About

Sandie M is a lover of music. Originally from Montreal, she began singing by joining different choirs and singing groups, which eventually led to a passion for gospel and inspirational music. Deeply moved by this music genre, she will take the decision to bring her own contribution to the world of contemporary gospel by sharing the expressions of her heart in French, her mother tongue.

Sandie M has witnessed closely the transformation that a belief in Jesus would create in the lives of some people who crossed her path. She noticed the contagious joy, the love, and the freedom expressed by those who professed having a relationship with him, and would herself come to that same experience at the age of 17. This decisive moment is a turning point in her life where she experiences what she describes as an inner revival. Ever since, she aspires to see an increasing number of people experiencing the same freedom and the same love she found in Christ, and her music is one of many ways to help her accomplish this vision.

Her debut album Un nouveau départ (A New Beginning), released in 2018, is welcomed and gets nominated for Francophone Album of the Year at the GMA Canada, and the single À la croix (At The Cross) for Francophone Song of the Year. Sandie M then focuses on releasing radio singles with Et si c’était (What If it Was) and Réveille-Matin (Alarm Clock), both energetic and lively songs. She then announces the release of her second album in the spring of 2023 with the single Pour l’amour de Dieu (For The Love of God), an album that reveals a significant artistic evolution as well as poetic music.

Sandie M’s music is eclectic, and offers an array of music genres. From pop to soul, many can find encouraging songs they can delight in. Beyond their sound differences, what is common to all songs featured is the message of hope the artist wants to share with everyone. “It’s because contemporary gospel can help put a smile on your face, breathe new life into your spirit, and bring hope in circumstances.”
